I am a chemist with Ph.D. in polymer science and self-assembly of polymer/nanocrystals, and postdoctorate experience in photocatalysis of nanomaterials. I specialize in Raman spectroscopy and FTIR.

I am a petrochemical engineer with a PhD in Chemistry with experience in the fields of polymers, catalysis, membrane technology for water desalination. Since 2009 I specialize in X-ray Diffraction and X-ray Structure Analysis.

My specialization is biophysicist with Ph.D. in bioorganic chemistry. My main interests extend to the study of biological membranes and their models, as well as the interaction of various compounds (proteins, toxins, drugs) with biological membranes. I am an expert in various biophysical techniques – spectroscopic (UV-Vis, Fluorescence, ESR) and thermodynamic (DSC, ITC, TGA). I am proficient in techniques for extraction of biological membranes,extraction and analysis of nature lipids, preparation of model membranes.
I did my Ph.D in chemistry and M.Sc. in physics. And I have over 25 years of experience in mass spectrometry (MALDI & ESI) and rheology.
Juergen studied Physics at the University of Konstanz. As a student, he was repeatedly employed in the labs of Ernst Bucher, a pioneer in photovoltaics, where he also did his diploma under the supervision of Martha Lux-Steiner, which showed the existence of Guided Wave Surface Polaritons in WSe2 crystals. He studied one year in Grenoble and spent 4 months in the C.N.R.S, fabricating and characterizing superconducting thin films. He was a teacher for physics in Switzerland until he moved to Israel, where he worked several years in the labs of Rachel Yerushalmi-Rozen on polymers, with a focus on characterization techniques. He became an expert in Scanning White Light Interferometry. Subsequently, he became employed at the IKI, where he specialized on Scanning Probe Microscopy. He is a dedicated researcher and a passionate teacher.
Light Scattering techniques, SAXS, Spectroscopy (RAMAN and FTIR)
In my PhD immunology I studied various aspect of lymphocytes cell biology, specifically Natural Killer cells. I’m an expert in Flow Cytometry (including cell sorting and imaging flow cytometry), and in bio-imaging. I also have experience in bioimage analysis using Fiji/ImageJ.
