I completed my PhD in Life Sciences, investigating the cellular mechanisms underlying giant vesicle secretion in Drosophila epithelial cells. My research combined advanced live-cell super-resolution microscopy with correlative imaging approaches to study membrane remodeling during exocytosis and fusion pore dynamics. I specialize in biological imaging and am experienced in confocal, super-resolution, and expansion microscopy techniques. Currently, I am developing imaging pipelines for correlative light and electron microscopy (CLEM), including both cryogenic and room-temperature workflows, to support advanced biological imaging applications in our facility.
I did my PhD in materials engineering, studying properties of polydiacetylene Langmuir films and directed nucleation of semiconductor nanocrystals. I specialize in transmission electron microscopy (TEM) characterization of soft and hard matter materials. I am an expert in the following techniques: TEM, electron diffraction, STEM, Cryo-TEM and TEM tomography.
