The Ilse Katz Institute for Nanoscale Science and Technology at BGU congratulates Prof. Louis Brus, Nobel Prize Laureate in Chemistry 2023 together with Prof. M. Bawendi and Prof. A. Ekimov.
In addition to being the first scientist to prove size-dependent quantum effects in nanoscale particles, Professor Brus was a leading member of the Israeli Nanotechnology Advisory Board (INAB). He made a significant contribution to the promotion of world-class nanotechnology research and to the setting up of remarkable nanotechnology infrastructure in Israel.
