Its combination of a quadrupole and an Orbitrap mass analyzer continue to provide the high resolution and mass accuracy necessary for everyday workflows. The instrument primarily handles:

  • Discovery Proteomics: Handles foundational screening by consistently identifying thousands of proteins from complex biological samples.
  • Quantitative Analysis: Processes label-free and TMT-labeled samples for precise protein quantification.
  • PTM Analysis: Detects and localizes complex post-translational modifications.
Specifications:

High-resolution mass-spectrometers that can be used for both Data Independent Analysis (DIA) and Parallel Reaction Monitoring (PRM). The MS is equipped with an ESI source that provides soft ionization of the molecules.
