Various chips (for ligand binding) can be purchased from the manufacture (Xantec):

1. Carboxyl coated chips (for binding proteins via an amine group)
2. Neutravidin coated chips (for binding a biotinylated molecule)
3. Tris-NTA coated chips (for binding his tagged proteins)

Other chips are also available

All chips can be bought with various binding site densities to optimize detection of analyte binding to the ligand.
