Dr. Olga Iliashevsky holds the position of Manager of the NMR Laboratory at the Department of Chemistry, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
She received her Ph.D. in Chemistry from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in 2012. Her doctoral research focused on the synthesis and characterization of silica-immobilized dendrimers and their applications. Following her Ph.D., she joined research groups in the Department of Chemical Engineering, where she worked on projects involving polymers and advanced functional materials.
Dr. Iliashevsky currently manages the university’s NMR facility, overseeing the operation and maintenance of a range of high-resolution NMR spectrometers, developing analytical methods, and providing scientific support to researchers from academia and industry. She also trains users and teaches courses in NMR spectroscopy and structure determination.
Her expertise includes nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, structural characterization of organic compounds, quantitative NMR, method development of novel NMR methods, and as well as advanced multidimensional NMR techniques. She collaborates with researchers from a wide range of scientific disciplines, supporting projects in organic chemistry, polymer science, materials science, pharmaceuticals, and related fields.
